Man jumped and robbed in Mission, then loses car

A man was jumped by two crooks in the Mission early Tuesday, police said.

The 55-year-old victim was in the area of 14th and Valencia streets about 4 a.m. when the two crooks came up behind him and pushed him to the ground, police said.

The crooks rifled through his pockets, stealing his cellphone, wallet and car keys, police said. The victim then ran away.

When he came back to where he had left his car, he noticed it was gone.

There was little suspect description and no arrests were made.

The victim sustained minor scrapes to his face, police said.
