Man interrupts attempted burglary of Lower Haight home 

A man interrupted a burglary of his Lower Haight home on Tuesday by a man who said he was there to work on the unit, police said.

The 40-year-old victim came home to his residence in the 700 block of Waller Street about 5 p.m. and found a man who appeared to be in his 30s inside his apartment. The man said he was there to work on the one of the units. The resident then left the apartment to confirm the man's story, but the man fled.

No loss was reported and no arrest was made.
