Man injured in Mission district shooting Wednesday morning 

A man was shot in the Mission district early Wednesday morning, Officer Grace Gatpandan said.

Police arrived to the scene of 26th and Bryant streets about 3:55 a.m. on calls of shots fired, Gatpandan said.

The victim was discovered at 24th and Alabama streets in front of a coffee shop, Gatpandan said, but the shooting is believed to have occurred at 26th and Bryant.

No suspect description was available Wednesday, police said, and the victim was uncooperative with police.

The man was hospitalized, but his injuries were not life-threatening.
