A man was injured in a hit-and-run in the Mission early Friday morning, police said.
The 38-year-old victim was walking in a driveway in the 1900 block of Mission Street some time between 2 and 3 a.m. when a large gray vehicle crossed the sidewalk into the driveway and struck the man, police said.
The victim told police he saw the vehicle parked in parking lot nearby but police were unable to find a vehicle matching that description.
The victim sustained a cut to his scalp and a possible skull fracture, police said. He was hospitalized for his injuries, which police said were not life threatening.
