A man was injured during a struggle with a young would-be thief over the man's camera in the Western Addition on Wednesday, police said.

The 60-year-old victim was taking pictures near Geary Boulevard and Buchanan Street about 5:52 p.m. when the 17-year-old suspect approached from behind and began tugging on the victim's camera, police said.
