Man goes berserk when bank leaves him wanting

An enraged bank customer who wanted to rent a safety deposit box did not appear concerned in the least with safety Wednesday morning, cops said.

When told there were no safety deposit boxes available to rent at a bank in the 3200 block of Mission Street, the reckless wretch went nuts, shouting obscenities and punching a glass door as he left, police said.

The pointless punch shattered the glass around 11 a.m., they said.

An arrest hasn’t been reported. The man was described as white, in his 30s, 6-feet tall and wearing a baseball cap and brown shirt, police said.
