Man found stabbed in Tenderloin 

A 24-year-old man was stabbed with either a screwdriver or a knife early Thursday morning during an argument in the Tenderloin.

Cops responded to the unit block of Taylor Street around 1 a.m. and found the man with a puncture wound in his abdomen. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. The injury was not life-threatening, police said.

A 26-year-old suspect is in custody. A weapon was not recovered, police said.

The stabbing continued a violent start to 2011 for the Tenderloin neighborhood. There were three homicides in the area during the first weekend of the new year.
