Man critically injured in Western Addition shooting 

A man was critically injured in a shooting in the Western Addition on Wednesday, police said.

The 25-year-old victim was approached by three men, who appeared to be in their 20s, at Turk and Pierce streets about 7:40 p.m., police said.

One of the men shot the victim in his upper body then fled with the other two men, police said.

The victim sustained life-threatening injuries, police said, and is in critical condition at a hospital.
