Man critically injured in Mission district hit-and-run 

A man was critically injured in a hit-and-run in the Mission district Monday, police said.

The victim, who police say is between 25 and 30 years old, was reportedly removing his bike from a bike rack in the 2100 block of Mission Street about 4:55 a.m. when he was struck by a dark-colored SUV, police said.

The SUV then fled the scene.

The victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
