Man arrested while sightseeing shirtless

A shirtless man was arrested for trespassing Saturday after cops found him hiding in an elevator well near the top of Coit Tower, police said.

Coit Tower was closed to the public at around 10:20 a.m. A worker told police she saw a man battling the winter with no shirt going up the Coit Tower stairs.

Responding cops climbed the stairs and, just before the top, found the suspect in the elevator well and arrested him, police said.
