Man arrested after vandalizing DPT vehicle

A man unhappy with his parking ticket was arrested Tuesday for allegedly puncturing the tire of a parking officer’s three-wheeler in Mission Terrace.

The Department of Parking and Traffic officer told cops she had ticketed the suspect in the 4600 block of Mission Street. While she was citing another car around 12:30 p.m., the man allegedly stuck a knife in the rear tire of her Cushman, police said.

The DPT officer identified the suspect. He was cited at the scene for the vandalism, police said.
