Luxury jeweler Graff toasts flagship store 

Graff Opening Party: San Francisco VIPs turned out Friday evening to celebrate the diamond jeweler’s flagship store at 237 Post St. The event was presented by Graff founder and Chairman Laurence Graff and the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital host committee: Lynne and Marc Benioff, Bita Daryabari and Reza Malek, Noosheen Hashemi and Zod Nazem, Marrisa Mayer, Deborah Lee Minor, Lonna Wais and Dede Wilsey.

 

Wine flows to support Catholic Charities

Vincenzo Wine Tasting and Auction: Catholic Charities CYO raised some $67,000 for youth scholarships at its 15th annual fundraiser Nov. 4 at the San Francisco Design Center. The gathering — featuring vintages poured by 28 wineries and an auction led by DawnMarie Kotsonis — was presented by honorary chairs Pat and Joe Harbison, sponsor iShares, founding chairman Jeff Fenton, co-chairwoman Heather Rodriguez and the Vincenzo honorary committee.

 

Greek-Americans honor Hellenic heritage

Hellenic Charity Ball: On Saturday at San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel, the Elios Society’s biennial gala featured a formal dinner, an awards show and appearances by prominent Greek-Americans — including filmmaker Nick Cassavetes and singer Constantine Maroulis — joining to celebrate centuries of Hellenic influence on American culture.
