Lunch with Supervisor Chiu over Entertainment Commission talk

Music, culture and entertainment industry folks can get some insight on City Hall’s policies impacting their industry during a City Insider Lunch June 25.

Supervisor David Chiu was invited to speak at the event, which is hosted by the California Music and Culture Association.

On May 25, Supervisor Chiu introduced legislation to expand the Entertainment Commission’s authority to revoke entertainment permits on issues related to public safety and public nuisance, a move the association has fully supported.

The lunch will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at  Triple Crown, 1760 Market St.
