Lowhorn reaps WCC honor

In his first season at USF, Dior Lowhorn set the bar pretty high for his next two years. The sophomore forward, who led the West Coast Conference in scoring at 20.7 points per game, was named first-team All-WCC. The 6-foot-7 Lowhorn, who played at International Studies Academy and Riordan High School before going to Texas Tech, was fourth in the WCC with 7.5 rebounds per game. Fifth-seeded USF (9-20) opens WCC tournament action against eighth-seeded Loyola Marymount (5-25) on Friday at 8 p.m. in San Diego.
