Lots of double bookings in mayoral race

It was a whirlwind of activity for mayoral candidates Saturday, and that’s after several were spotted at Supervisor Sean Elsbernd’s annual Crab Feed Friday night.

Assessor-Recorder Phil Ting had a nice turnout at the County Fair Building for his “Reset San Francisco” chat. City Attorney Dennis Herrera opened his campaign headquarters at 1645 California. And state Senator Leland Yee was having tea at Luen Fat Restaurant in Visitacion Valley.

We’re not sure what Joanna Rees was up to on Saturday, but there was a confirmed sighting of her at the Crab Feed.

Former supervisors Bevan Dufty and Tony Hall didn’t appear to have any events, but tips are most welcome.

And then there’s the mayor himself, Ed Lee, who was on hand at the opening of the newly renovated Park Branch Library.

Phew! What a busy day for glad-handing.
