Looks like the NRSC chose the right place to spend 

We all know that the National Republican Senatorial Committee wants to expand the playing field for Senate seats — especially now that their prospects in Delaware seem dim. Hence their recent decision to dump more than $1 million into West Virginia’s Senate race.

Now we have another poll suggesting the wisdom of that decision. It shows Republican John Raese narrowly leading Gov. Joe Manchin, D, in the special election race for the seat of deceased former Sen. Robert Byrd, D.

Manchin, a popular governor, faces two major problems: a federal investigation of a possible scandal in his administration, as well as President Obama’s overwhelming unpopularity in his state.
