Longtime wedding planner takes pride in bringing order to matrimonial chaos

Sanford Marshall, the owner and founder of both The Wedding Coach and San Man Productions, has been planning events for more than a decade.

Why did you found The Wedding Coach? I recognized that there’s a market for a real wedding planner that has the ability to recognize that men and women are different in many ways. I say that just because your fiance doesn’t care about the color of the napkins doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about the wedding. I want to communicate and facilitate commitment between both parties.

How do you help the soon-to-be-married couples? One of the major ways is helping them to organize their thoughts and ideas. It’s critical to create a system to get goals completed in order of importance to eliminate stress.

What is a big advantage of using a wedding planner? We have the ability to achieve their vision in their monetary budget as we have contacts and can negotiate deals.

What’s the best part of planning weddings? Watching the bride and groom getting excited as they select each element.
