The Monday protest of BART continued this week, though the protests did not immediately disrupt commuters.

The protest by the activist group Anonymous started at the Civic Center BART station just after 5 p.m. Protesters marched along Market Street and through several BART stations.

Anonymous, a loose collective of online activists, has been organizing gatherings against BART every Monday for the last four weeks. Along with another group, called No Justice No BART, Anonymous members have been protesting against the killing of 45-year-old Charles Hill by BART police officers, and the agency’s subsequent decision to shut down cell phone service in its downtown stations to prevent a planned gathering.

Today marks the fifth consecutive Monday in which there have been protests at downtown BART stations.
