What made you want to try to create your own facial moisturizer?
I read Elizabeth Gilbert’s book “Eat, Pray, Love,” and was inspired to go to Bali [Indonesia]. I met with Wayan, the healer Gilbert meets in the book, and she used herbs, oils and natural solutions on my skin, and I immediately saw a difference.

What are the key factors that separate your product? I work with chemists who use cosmetic-grade extracts. There are antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, moisturizers and anti-microbials that the chemist balanced to work with the skin. Women who take cancer medication often have to use all-natural products, and this has been popular with them.

A lot of people are afraid of using oils on their face, what are the benefits? Most clogged pores are due to overly active sebaceous glands, blocked with natural fluids. The natural oils that we have chosen help break up the oils that normally clog pores.
