Let's go, Giants (and cleanup crews)

On the opening day of baseball our city agencies hit the streets, ridding 40 trash bags full, filling 100 pothole divots, painting 15 flaky trashcans and a partridge in a pear tree.

Maybe not the last part, but according to the Department of Public Works, they did plant four (not pear) trees sans partridges.

They also weeded and cleaned 10 tree basins and got rid of some pesky graffiti.

The cleanup was a joint effort with more than 100 volunteers.
