Leland Yee tries to woo 'friends' with Giants tickets

Leland Yee really, really wants to be your friend.

The candidate for San Francisco mayor, who is competing in a crowded field of contenders, is constantly sending out press releases every time someone in politics blinks. Every time another candidate enters the race for mayor, Yee's camp "welcomes" them to the race with an email flurry to the media.

There is of course the thought that Yee used death threats against him by a Rush Limbuagh fan to put himself into the spotlight.

So what is Yee up to now? Free San Francisco Giants tickets for the opening weekend at AT&T Park.

With the team fresh off their World Series championship, who could resist free tickets? To capitalize on the fan fury, Yee set up a section on his Facebook page where you can "Like" Leland Yee for mayor and be entered into a chance for two free tickets.

It is not clear from the page what day the tickets are for or if you will get to sit next to Yee during the game.
