According to an ESPN report, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison is considering a partnership with Oprah Winfrey and David Geffen to purchase the LA Clippers.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced yesterday that he will attempt to force current Clippers owner Donald Sterling to sell the team after he was caught on tape making racist remarks.

Ellison's technology company currently has the naming rights to the Warriors' Oracle Arena, but those rights expire in 2016. As the Warriors prepare to move to San Francisco, it appears Ellison has his eye on the Clippers instead.

The NBA board of governors is expected to vote on whether or not to force Sterling to sell the team.
