Large bush poses traffic hazard Tuesday morning

A large bush blocked the slow lane of northbound state Highway 1 near Interstate 280 at 7:11 a.m. Tuesday.

The Muni 1-California, 9-San Bruno, 28-19th Avenue and 43-Masonic lines had longer than typical wait times as of 6:30 a.m.

Caltrans is performing roadwork on eastbound Interstate 80 between Fourth Street and the Bay Bridge eastern span. Alternate lanes will be open until 2 p.m. Tuesday.

A no-injury collision blocked the left lane of traffic on northbound U.S. Highway 101 near the connector to southbound I-280 at 8:05 a.m. Commuters should expect delays.

A collision occurred on southbound U.S. Highway 101 near the Alana Way onramp at 8:43 a.m.

A no-injury collision occurred on southbound I-280 just north of the Sneath Lane offramp at 8:53 a.m.
