Kudos: The time is right to get fitted for a breast cancer cure

With research showing that most women wear the wrong size bra, and that nearly 200,000 women were diagnosed with breast cancer last year, the time is right for “Fi(GH)t for the Cure.”

Wacoal, makers of intimate apparel, is sponsoring free complimentary 15-minute fittings with a specialist between noon and 5 p.m. Aug. 21 at Saks Fifth Avenue Union Square, 384 Post St., San Francisco.

By keeping women on track through monthly breast exam reminders, the “Wacoal Promise” is helping women stay committed to their health. Take a few minutes to meet with a Wacoal expert and sign up for a reminder that could ultimately save your life.

Your action will help others, too. For every woman who participates, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research and outreach programs. The company also will donate an additional $2 for every Wacoal, DKNY Underwear or Donna Karan Intimates bra purchased at these events.
