Kudos: Coldwell Banker raises funds for Habitat for Humanity

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the real estate brokerage firm, has just launched its 10th annual Habitat for Humanity fundraising campaign for Northern California, dubbed “BIGGIVE.”

With a projected goal of $400,000, the foundation’s main fund-raising tool is a raffle, at $2 a ticket. Prizes include $5,000, a three-night Mexican getaway, a stay at the Monterey plaza Hotel and an iPhone.

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit housing ministry that since 1976 has built more than 250,000 houses worldwide and sheltered more than a million people.

Coldwell Banker President Rick Turley says Habitat for Humanity “makes it possible for low-income families to achieve the American dream of home ownership, which may not be possible otherwise. We are really coming together to build the framework of success for future generations.”
