Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, will have one of his last hurrahs as a subcommittee chairman on House Oversight after Thanksgiving. He's holding what could be a very worthwhile hearing. The committee's Republican staff sends along a note about the hearing, which is not yet posted on the committee website:
The Domestic Policy Subcommittee of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Chaired by Dennis Kucinich, will be holding a hearing on Tuesday, November 30th at 2 p.m. in 2203 Rayburn addressing the economic justification for and likely effects of the Fed’s [quantitiative easing] policy…witnesses Kucinich has invited include representatives from the Congressional Research Service, the Center for Economic Policy and Research, American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, Wartburg College and the American Monetary Institute.
