Kate and Owen: Birthday PDA

After keeping their romance under wraps for months, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson seem to have finally gone public as a couple. At Kate’s 28th-birthday dinner Thursday at L.A.’s La Esquina, they "were kissing in the corner," a pal of the actress told People, adding that the free-spirited pair are "so into each other." Awww.

Britney’s dad dishes some harsh criticism

Britney Spears is under fire — from her own father. Jamie Spears issued a harsh critique of his daughter’s decision to fire manager Larry Rudolph, whom, as Scoop! has reported, Brit allegedly resents for landing her in rehab.

"When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done," Jamie wrote to the New York Post. "She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life."

Britney responded by telling the paper she and her dad "have never had a good relationship. It’s sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman’s love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now."

A friend defended Britney to the Post, saying tests showed the "Toxic" singer "had no drugs in her system when she was admitted to Promises. … She was embarrassed she had to go in there when she knew she was suffering from postpartum depression, not a drug or alcohol problem."

Whatever the root of her troubles, we’re guessing Britney needs her family’s support, not judgment, right now.

Alec: Bad Call

In other father-daughter drama news, Alec Baldwin has an explanation for his angry voicemail, released on the Internet, blasting daughter Ireland, 11, as "a rude, thoughtless little pig" for not taking his call.

"Once again I’ve made an ass out of myself trying to get to a phone at a specific time," Alec fumes in the message. "I’m tired of playing this game with you. You have insulted me for the last time."

In a message on his Web site Friday, a contrite Alec said, "I’m sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child."

But he went on to blame his frustration on a bitter, prolonged custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger, Ireland’s mom.

"I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now," the "30 Rock" star revealed. "You have to go through this to understand. [Although I hope you never do.]"

Alec’s legal team is reportedly investigating the leak of the voicemail.

Enrique: Options Open

Hunky singer Enrique Iglesias has been with Anna Kournikova for years now — even sparking rumors of a secret wedding. But though he tells People en Español that his romance with the tennis beauty is "the only serious relationship I’ve had in my life," he’s still not ready to commit to a future with her.

Asked if he envisions the couple sticking it out for the long haul, the "Escape" crooner admits, "I don’t know."

"The only thing I can say is that, in my opinion, Anna … [would] be the perfect mother, and I say it regardless of whether I’d be with her or not," he adds.

Enrique says the play-it-by-ear pair splits their time between L.A. and Miami.

Sweet setup — no wonder he’s in no hurry to talk marriage.

Paris: New Dude

Er … scratch what we said about Paris Hilton being gaga over "Desperate Housewives" hunk Josh Henderson. Despite having doted on Josh just days earlier, as Scoop! has reported, the serial-monogamist heiress was reportedly seen canoodling with singer James Blunt.

Wednesday at L.A. hot spot Teddy’s, Paris and James "were all over each other," a spy told the New York Daily News. "They both ended up back at Paris’ house." (Her sis Nicky and boyfriend David Katzenberg also after-partied at the "Simple Life" star’s pad.)

The "Beautiful" crooner, meanwhile, is fresh off a March breakup with supermodel Petra Nemcova and has been linked with Lindsay Lohan.

Having done the math, we predict this relationship will be over by the time you finish reading this sentence.
