Jessica Simpson sets wedding date – but no gown

Jessica Simpson is ready to walk down the aisle for the second time, as soon as she figures out a few key details. The singer said she and fiance Eric Johnson have set a date, which she didn’t divulge, but she has yet to choose a dress.

“I’m still trying to figure out what to wear! I don’t know if I want the big boom or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful,” the former “Newlyweds” star told Us magazine. “I kind of have a couple ideas in my head, and I have a date. I’m really excited!”

Surprisingly for a woman whose weight fluctuations have been — no pun intended — widely scrutinized in the press, Jess doesn’t seem to feel pressure to slim down for her big day.

“There is no regimen I need to follow. There’s no diet I need to follow. I just need to do some things for myself and that’s it. And that will make me feel the happiest,” she said. “No exercise is fun! I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight, and lift some weights and do what I can!”

Gaga: ‘Loser’?

Lady Gaga has insecurities just like everyone else. Though you might think a woman confident enough to walk around wearing a lobster on her head — and very little else — would have an ego of steel, the pop diva was caught on camera having a preperformance meltdown that she chalks up to nerves.

In footage from an upcoming concert special, the singer was seen in tears, saying, “I just sometimes feel like a loser still, you know. It’s crazy, ’cause it’s like we’re at the Garden but I still feel like a loser kid in high school.”

She said she has to “pick myself up and I have to tell myself that I’m a superstar every morning so that I can get through this day and be for my fans what they need for me to be.”

But Gaga told Ellen DeGeneres her breakdown is not an everyday occurrence.

“Well, in that moment I was very excited and nervous. That was a huge benchmark moment in my life. I’m 25 years old. I was asked to play Madison Square Garden, sold out five nights, and quite frankly it was very overwhelming,” the “Judas” singer said. “Do I feel like a loser sometimes? Yes, of course I do. We all feel like losers sometimes.”

Yeah, but not all of us can reassure ourselves with the knowledge that we sold out Madison Square Garden for five nights.

Lindsay: Theater Coach?

Lindsay Lohan might be dreading her 120-day prison sentence, but when it comes to the court-ordered community service requirement, she’s actually enthusiastic. Her lawyer filed paperwork for the starlet to begin performing 360 hours of work at the Downtown Women’s Center, an organization for homeless women. TMZ reported she wanted to start this week, but the organization pushed it back to next week.

And here’s the part LiLo is evidently most excited about: The center offers a theater workshop group for women to learn self-expression through performance. They’re reportedly interested in having Lindsay contribute her talents, and she in turn thinks that helping out would be “a perfect fit for her community service.”

Sure beats the other component of Lindsay’s community service requirement: working in a morgue.
