Jessica and Gerard more than friends?

Is Jessica Biel having a rebound romance with Gerard Butler? Recently split from Justin Timberlake, the starlet was spotted over the weekend riding on the back of hunky actor Butler’s motorcycle.

The pair, who got to know each other while filming “Playing the Field” together in Louisiana, looked close on their Malibu highway jaunt.

And before filming even began, they seemed tight at a dinner for cast and crew at a Japanese restaurant, where they sat together and he ate off her plate. An onlooker opined to People magazine, “They looked like a couple. They were having a good time.”

But as usual, wet-blanket reps insist the pair are “just friends.” And an insider actually backs them up, explaining, “Gerry has a large personality, and everyone, including Jessica, gets caught up in his world. I think they enjoyed each other’s company. It can be hard working on a movie, trying to establish a new routine, and it helps when you have someone with you to make you feel more normal.”

Game On?

Suddenly it seems like everyone is talking about Olivia Wilde … and we don’t mean Oscar buzz for her work in “Tron: Legacy.” Over the past few weeks, she’s become a gossip magnet, with rumors that she has hooked up with Hollywood hotties from Justin Timberlake to Bradley Cooper. (She’s denied it all.) And mind you, her divorce from Tao Ruspoli, her husband of eight years, isn’t even final.

The latest dude to be linked with the “House” star is Justin Long, the dorky-cute actor whose highest-profile romance to date was with Drew Barrymore. The “Mac guy” was hanging with Olivia at a downtown NYC bar last Thursday.

Just how close did they get? Well, a New York Daily News source says that Olivia was sitting in a booth with two friends, while Justin sat in a chair opposite; they were playing “a game of color blocks” (seriously?), and the pair didn’t appear “particularly flirty.”

Again we say, booo-ring!

Whirlwind Romance

In the course of just three months, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald met, moved in together, and got engaged — she showed off the telltale bling at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, proclaiming to E!, “He’s the one.” So what do they say to folks who think they might be moving too fast?

“I love him,” the “Twilight” star declared to People shortly before her beau put a ring on it. “And I don’t care.”

“I’ve never met anyone like him,” Nikki elaborated. “I’ve never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I’ve never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him.”

The actress and the recent “American Idol” also-ran met at the March premiere of “Little Red Riding Hood.” They’re now shacking up together in L.A. but seeking a larger home.

“Paul and I want a bigger place,” Nikki explained. “His music is so important to him and to me, and so I want to give him a whole separate space for it. It will be good, and it will help him be creative.”

Note that she said “I want to give him,” not “We want to have …” Also note that for her 23rd birthday last month, he bought her a “$10 necklace from a vintage store.” Dare we ask who’s paying for the engagement ring?
