Bloomsbury Publishing PLC (BMBYF), the British publisher of the Harry Potter books, has reported a slump in 2006 annual profit, from 14.6 million pounds to 3.7 million, but forecast improving earnings in 2007 when the final installment of the books about the wizard is due for release.
