Wednesday is the third anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death, and the grim anniversary might soon mark the death of her only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The New York Post reported Tuesday that the 21-year-old, who was found face-down in a bathtub at her Georgia home Jan. 31, is being taken off life support Wednesday. Brown, daughter of Houston and singer Bobby Brown, has been in a medically induced coma and has shown no signs of improvement.

“This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s [brain-dead], and there’s nothing more that can be done for her,” a Brown family source told the Post. As for the date — exactly three years after Houston drowned in a hotel bathtub under eerily similar circumstances — a family source told TMZ that Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, felt it would “bond mother and daughter for eternity.”

Later Tuesday, however, an attorney for Bobby Brown lashed out at “false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet.”

Police are investigating what led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina, who was found by her boyfriend Nick Gordon. While her father said the couple never legally married, they referred to each other as husband and wife.

JON STEWART LEAVING ‘DAILY SHOW’

First Stephen Colbert, now Jon Stewart; pretty soon, Comedy Central might have to fill its late-night block entirely with “South Park” reruns.

Stewart announced his departure later this year at a taping of “The Daily Show” on Tuesday. Comedy Central President Michele Ganeless confirmed his exit, according to The Associated Press, which comes months after Colbert left “The Colbert Report” to take over David Letterman’s show on CBS.

Stewart took several months off from the show in 2013 to direct “Rosewater,” a film about an Iranian journalist.
