Indiscreet man arrested in Mission Street bar for narcotics, gun charges

He could have been Tony Montana’s little friend. A man whose nose was caked in cocaine was arrested inside a Mission Street bar Saturday after police found him in possession of a gun.

Cops were doing a routine check of the bar in the 3700 block of Mission when they saw the suspect “stumble from the bathroom and attempt to take a seat at the bar” just before 7 p.m., police at Ingleside Station said.

Not only was he drunk, but cops could see dried white powder on his nostrils, and his lips were “dry and white,” police said.

The cops escorted the suspect out of the bar, searched him, and found more white powder and a magazine for a gun. The suspect gave the cops permission to search his car, where they found a loaded handgun in the glove box.

He was taken into custody on narcotics and gun charges, police said.
