Incubus to unleash its latest in July

It would be a great question for Final “Jeopardy!”: ‘This unassuming little combo from Calabasas, California has – in its ten-year, six-album career – logged no less than 13 Top Ten hits, four of them debuting at #1.’ Who among us could have guessed ‘Who is Incubus?’ Seriously. Which is perhaps Brandon Boyd and company’s coolest aspect – they always seem to be in stealth mode, infecting your brain with earworms before you even suspect what’s happening. And ues, that’s actually a good thing.

Get ready, because Incubus is creeping up on us again, with “If Not Now, When?”, a new full-lengther coming July 12 on Epic. Boyd believes they’ve dug deeper into new sounds than ever before, and calls the record (released on CD, download and retro-hip vinyl) the band’s “unabashed, romantic, lush sonic love letter to the world.” To affirm this, fans need only log onto, pre-order the album, and get an instant free download of first single “Adolescents.” The song will also be available separately on iTunes on April 19.
