Hookers and cocaine not on ballot in Florida's 19th district today

Are you a Palm Beach resident tired of visiting the local stripmall, hanging out at the beach, or figuring out what to do prior to heading over to Shooters?  Have you read a newspaper in the last month? Maybe you should mosey on over to your polling place and pull the lever in today's super double secret special election.

How is it you missed today's date? According to Ace of Spades, "the Palm Beach supervisor of elections did NOT send out any notices that an election was in fact happening today."

See, today's election is to replace Rep. Robert "Hookers and cocaine" Wexler, who resigned to become president of the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation. During his uncontested 2008 reelection, Wexler played along with Stephen Colbert's suggestion that he say things that would normally prevent him from being electable. Watch the clip, particularly at 4:18.
