Hoodlums harass, rob at Sixth and Mission streets

Two robberies happened within two hours of each other in the area of Sixth and Mission streets Wednesday, police said.

The first robbery happened in the 100 block of Sixth Street around 4 p.m. A 50-year-old man was held up by gun-toting thug who stole the man’s wallet, cops said.

Two and half hours later at Sixth and Mission streets a 15-year-old boy was robbed by a teenaged hoodlum, police said.

The hood demanded the victim’s cell phone. After the victim refused, the two engaged in a struggle in which the hoodlum emerged victorious with the cell phone, police said.
