HIV kits stolen from San Jose found in San Francisco’s McLaren Park 

Boxes of HIV test kits that had been stolen in San Jose were discovered in a San Francisco park on Wednesday, police said.

Cops got a call about the boxes of medical supplies that had been found at McLaren Park, near Russia and La Grande avenues, around 5:30 a.m.

An officer recovered the HIV test kits, which had been stolen earlier that morning, police said.  

The company that shipped the boxes was notified as well as the San Jose Police Department, police said.
