Highway, Muni delays Tuesday morning

Metal debris caused a traffic hazard on northbound U.S. Highway 101 just north of the Oyster Point Boulevard offramp in South San Francisco at 7:04 a.m. today.

Due to police activity, Muni northbound F-Market streetcars were switching back at Pier 39 as of 6:40 a.m.

The outbound 108-Treasure Island line was delayed at Treasure Island due to a big rig blocking the road at 7:13 a.m. No bus stops will be missed, but commuters should expect residual delays.

A collision involving an Acura and a Toyota on Interstate 280 before the Cesar Chavez Street offramp at 8:06 a.m. affected the right shoulder. Commuters should expect delays.

Muni lines 1-California, 6-Parnassus, 14-Mission, 22-Fillmore, 28-19th Avenue, 41-Union and 43-Masonic had longer than usual wait times as of 7:06 a.m.
