Highway, BART, Muni delays Monday morning

A collision blocked the left lane on westbound Interstate 80 just west of the Treasure Island onramp on the Bay Bridge at 7:57 a.m. Monday. Also on westbound I-80, a hit-and-run involving no injuries occurred just east of Treasure Island at 7:25 a.m. And a traffic hazard was reported on westbound I-80 just east of the metering lights at 7:24 a.m.

A collision occurred on southbound U.S. Highway 101 at the connector to southbound Interstate 280 at 7:35 a.m.

A traffic hazard was reported on southbound Highway 101 just south of San Francisco International Airport at 8:01 a.m.

A collision occurred on southbound Highway 101 just north of the Cesar Chavez Street offramp at 8:12 a.m.

A collision occurred on southbound I-280 just north of the Eastmoor Avenue Offramp at 8:21 a.m.

A collision occurred on northbound I-280 just north of the Sickles Avenue onramp at 8:31 a.m.

At 5:03 a.m., BART was recovering from a 20-minute delay on the Pittsburg/Bay Point line in the San Francisco direction due to a person walking on the tracks between Concord and North Concord.

The Muni 19-Polk and 71-Haight/Noriega lines had longer than usual wait times at 6:32 a.m.
