High heel to the head inflicts 2-inch gash

A high heel caused the most damage in a brawl outside a San Francisco nightclub Sunday, Central Station police said.

A victim suffered a 2-inch gash to the head that required stitches after she was bashed with the hurled heel at Grant Avenue and Sutter Street around 12:36 a.m., police said.

Cops responded to the altercation and began separating the mob. The victim was treated at San Francisco General Hospital.

The female victim could not describe the attacker, police said. No arrests were reported.
