Hell-bent on hot tub refund

These unhappy women must have been looking for a hot tub "refund machine," and when one didn’t magically appear, took matters into their own hands.

Two women who claimed they had a lukewarm experience at a hot tub spa in San Francisco on Saturday night tried to run off with the tip jar, police said.

The heated customers threw a fit and demanded a refund after complaining that The Hot Tubs at 2200 Van Ness Ave., which bills itself as a place for peace and relaxation, provided bad service, cops said.

After arguing with management, one woman grabbed the tip jar and dashed off, cops said. An employee gave chase and struggled with the unhappy hot tubber until he was able to recover the tip jar, they said.

The employee suffered a small scratch to his forearm during the brawl, police said.

Both women fled the scene and no arrests have been made, police said.

The two suspects were described as a white woman and a black woman in their 20s, police said.
