Heartless crooks steal woman's wedding ring in the Tenderloin

Two heartless crooks armed with knives stole a woman's wedding ring right off her finger in the Tenderloin on Friday, police said Monday.

The 25-year-old woman was walking in the 800 block of Eddy Street about 8:30 a.m. when a man, who appeared to be in his 40s, came up to her and pointed a knife at her. Then a second man, who appeared to be in his late 20s, came up from behind, also armed with a knife, and pulled the wedding ring off the woman's finger, police said.

The woman was shoved against a wall, and the crooks fled and were not arrested.
