Hearing set for Daly City councilwoman fraud claims 

The Daly City councilwoman accused of filing false workers’ compensation claims will likely have a preliminary hearing date set in April, the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said. The 55-year-old is facing seven counts of workers’ compensation fraud, five counts of insurance fraud, one count of giving a false statement and two counts of attempted perjury for allegedly lying that she had been injured while working and was limited physically.
