Hearing addresses new Burlingame Safeway

A public hearing will be held Tuesday on the rezoning of the area where the new Burglingame Safeway grocery store will be built. The Planning Commission on Jan. 11 recommended that the Burlingame City Council approve the project, which includes an ordinance to reclassify the area. The space’s zoning does not currently allow for a grocery store to be built.
