Harding named Burlingame city librarian

Pat Harding, the interim Burlingame city librarian, has been given the permanent job. Harding replaces Al Escoffer, who retired in December. Harding, who has also held library posts in San Bruno and Daly City, had been serving as the library services manager for the past decade. City Manager Jim Nantell in a press release said he was impressed with Harding’s handling of the budget process and her ideas on increasing public access to materials.
