Dave Brockie — lead singer of the crazy costumed “Beavis and Butthead”-worshipped speed-metal band GWAR — is dead at age 50.

TMZ says Brockie — aka Oderus Urungus — was found early Sunday morning dead, sitting upright in a chair at his home in Richmond, Va.

Richmond officials said foul play is not suspected and no drugs were found at the scene. Officers were called to Brockie’s home Sunday and found the singer dead inside, police told The Associated Press on Monday. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Another law enforcement source told TMZ it was not a suicide. Brockie was found by his roommate.

The band shot to superstardom after its over-the-top horror show music videos became a staple on “Beavis and Butthead” in the 1990s.
