Gun-toting scoundrel robs woman in front of her children 

A woman was robbed at gunpoint in front of her three children Wednesday among armed robberies this week.

Velasco Avenue and Sawyer Street
3:30 p.m. Wednesday

A 31-year-old woman walking with her three children was robbed at gunpoint by a cowardly masked scoundrel, cops said. The crook approached the victim from behind, grabbed her purse, drew the gun and demanded the rest of her property before fleeing.

30th Avenue and Fulton Street
7:20 p.m. Wednesday

A 34-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint by two teens, police said. The victim was walking when a boy in his teens grabbed his arm and demanded his cellphone. Another suspect, aged 18 to 20, pointed a gun at the victim who handed over his phone. The two punks fled.

Sansome and Union streets
10:20 p.m. Wednesday

A gun-toting goon snuck up on a 60-year-old woman and robbed her purse, cops said. The crook, described as a man in his 20s, fled in a gray vehicle with an unknown suspect driving.

900 block of Polk Street
1:30 a.m. Thursday

An armed crook robbed a 36-year-old man of his cash, wallet and cellphone, police said. The crook, described by cops as a man in his 30s, pulled a gun on the victim as he stood on the corner. The victim handed over his cellphone but that wasn’t enough for this goon, who asked for the victim’s money, too. The victim handed over his wallet and the scoundrel fled on foot.
