Mayor ED Lee and a host of San Francisco officials joined California Pacific Medical Center CEO Warren Browner and Sutter Health West Bay president Mike Cohill in breaking ground for the beginning of construction of new California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) hospital at Cathedral Hill, the site of the former Cathedral Hill Hotel on Van Ness Avenue at Geary Boulevard.
