Google executives bring in $1 salaries 

The three executives who run Google Inc. each drew a salary last year of $1. But Eric Schmidt, Larry Page and Sergey Brin more than made up for it in the large stakes they own in the online search leader, which has made them billionaires. Schmidt is No. 116 on Forbes magazines’ most recent ranking of American billionaires, while Brin, 33, and Page, 34, shared the No. 26 spot.

The CEO of Ford Motor Co. (F) said the automaker’s sweeping turnaround remained on track. Ford, which is closing 16 plants, lost $12.7 billion last year and mortgaged its factories, brand names and other items to secure a $23.4 billion line of credit to fund its restructuring plan. Mulally billed it "the biggest home-improvement loan in the history of mankind."
