Good Weekend: Sunday, January 6

A great bike ride — Mona Caron Mural Artist Tour: Anytime. Take a ride around town to see some of San Francisco’s most beautiful murals, all painted by artist and bicycling advocate Mona Caron. Caron has painted more than a dozen murals, including award-winning public art projects. Start off your ride visiting her landmark Duboce Bikeway Mural located on Duboce Street between Church and Market, behind Safeway. Next, ride south on Church Street across Market Street to the Market Street Railway Mural at 300 Church St. and 15th Street. Continue along Church to 22nd Street, where you’ll see her

2.75-square-foot Botanical Mural, featuring an array of wild flowers and grasses. To possibly catch Caron at work and to say "hello," ride on to 24th and Vicksburg streets, where she is transforming those walls with artichokes and eggplants.
