Good Samaritans come to victim’s aid as crook pulls hair, snatches cellphone 

Good Samaritans tackled a cellphone snatcher who pulled her victim’s hair during the South of Market heist Tuesday, police said.

Police said the suspect crept up behind a 31-year-old woman, grabbed her hair and swiped her cellphone at Third and Harrison streets around 7 p.m.

Two witnesses chased down and tackled the suspect, a 19-year-old woman.

Cops subsequently arrested the woman, police said. The cell phone was returned.
